UK 4G Auction delayed again, but trials start

Cell:cm has heard that the auction for UK 4G licences has yet again been postponed following an Ofcom consultation.

The saga of the UK 4G auction continues to drag on, with further delays likely. As France, Germany, Italy and others allocate frequencies and start build-outs, UK regulator Ofcom said it will seek a second round of talks with industry players before proceeding with its auction of 800MHz, 2.6GHz and other spectrum.
