Russell joined the telecoms property market 2000, working as an agent to the main operators for six years before moving to Vodafone and subsequently to Cornerstone where he was responsible for the acquisition and delivery of mast sites and installations in the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland for both o2 and Vodafone, reporting to Cornerstone’s Acquisition Director. After 16 years working for the mobile network operators Russell decided to represent landlords of mobile phone masts and joined Cell:cm Chartered Surveyors as Director in June 2016 before becoming Managing Director in May 2021. A Chartered Surveyor since 2003, Russell developed a specialist knowledge and experience in the electronic communications property sector, which has given him an important insight to this complex and fast moving market. Away from work, Russell enjoys spending time with his family, Burns poetry (where he can frequently be heard reciting at Burns Suppers), ticking off the Munros and trying to bring people round to his love of Single Malts!
